Statistics: Russia’s GDP rises by 3.3% on year in April
MOSCOW, May 31 (PRIME) -- Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 3.3% on the year in April after declining 0.7% in March, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Wednesday quoting preliminary data.
The GDP cleared of the seasonal factor increased 0.2% in April after 1.1% in March.
In January–April, the annual contraction of the economy amounted to 0.6%.
